AGRI 128 - Agriculture Field Practice I
This course provides students with a foundational understanding of field operations within a farming system. It introduces essential concepts related to crop production, livestock production and farm machinery. Students will develop a general appreciation of how these three components interact and complement each other, with particular emphasis on the role of tools and machinery in supporting efficient crop and livestock management.
Biology of Farm Crops and Livestock- GA
This course is mandatory for first year students enrolled in the Associates Degree of Applied Agriculture. This is a three-credit lecture and lab course that provides a general description of the gross anatomy and physiology of the farm animals and crops. The classroom lecture will be reinforced with outdoor or indoor practical hands on, as well as identification and differentiation of carcass from slaughtered animals and plant materials.
