Course Description:

This course is a culmination of the students’ comprehensive and writing abilities at the junior college level.  The course is aimed at refining the students skills and techniques used in creating effective literary works.  Through classroom discussions and group activities the students will share ideas to build on their knowledge base.  In this course students will write a persuasive essay, compose and present an effective speech and a debate along with other assignments. Upon completing the course the students will create a portfolio of all their work.
