This course starts with Reasoning and logic, followed by the real number system, Algebraic Operations which includes the Remainder Theorem, Factor theorem and polynomial identities; Thereafter the properties of Exponential and Logarithmic functions. Then the concepts of Functions: domain, range, injective, surjective, bijective.  The Modulus function and special properties of quadratic and cubic equations will be discussed (nature of the roots).
