Principles of Microeconomics -ED
The aim of the first semester of Microeconomics is to provide candidates with adequate knowledge and understanding of the tools of economic analysis and the situations and problems to which these tools are applied. The main purpose is to apply the various concepts of microeconomics to real-life problems. Issues like government regulations, taxation, antitrust policy, public goods, technological change, and policies towards the environment will be covered. The course is intended to provide the basis for a broad understanding of economics and to provide a satisfactory basis for further study of the subject.
