Business Communication - Clifton Garbutt

This course is designed to help students understand the critical role communication plays in forging and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial business relationships and therefore emphasizes the need to efficiently communicate orally and in writing in the workplace. It seeks to explore the communication process, the ethics and intercultural aspect of communication, and mastering interpersonal communication. Students will additionally be thoroughly grounded in the planning and writing of business messages for electronic and non-electronic audiences, business document design, as well as communication strategies for seeking employment.
