The course will assist students in understanding the role of Human Resource Management in achieving organizational goals. It covers the objectives, functions and organization of Human Resource Management programs.  Students will study in detail: the human resource functions of conducting effective job analysis; recruitment; selection and training & development; and performance appraisal. Other topics to be covered include labour relations, collective bargaining, and compensation management. Students will acquire a sound knowledge of the concepts and responsibilities of human resource development and how to apply these concepts to make a more efficient and effective organization
