Statistical Analysis I/Biostatistics Analysis

Mathematics and its applications are quickly becoming indispensible in our modern technological world. Thereby it is required that a person has the ability to transform a problem in non-mathematical form into mathematical language. This course will highlight some of the statistical applications encountered in real life. In this course the students will equip themselves with tools of data collection, data organization and data analysis in order to make valid decisions and predictions. Thereafter probability theory will be discussed followed by thorough discussion of random variables (discrete and continuous like Binomial and Normal).
